Kann Collective was founded in 2025 to advance Deaf and Disabled talent, culture, and representation across the entertainment and outdoors industries.
We aim to leverage the power of the entertainment and media industries to create meaningful, equitable job opportunities for Deaf & Disabled people, both in front of and behind the camera. We are committed to expanding access, representation, and infrastructure, and to growing this work globally through education, storytelling, and social media, with the aim of driving lasting cultural and systemic change.
Our Team
Camila Kann, born in São Paulo, Brazil and previously based in New York City, brings a global, justice-driven lens to building more accessible and inclusive creative ecosystems.
With over five years of experience managing talent, Camila has led high-impact partnerships and placed Deaf and Disabled creators, athletes, artists, and activists in major, mainstream campaigns, challenging industries to move beyond tokenism toward authentic, intersectional representation. Alongside her work in talent management, she has over a decade of experience working within the disability community through arts & theatre leadership, advocacy, and community-based programming.
Camila holds a B.A. from NYU Gallatin in Performance as a Tool for Personal and Societal Transformation, with a focus on disability studies, mental health, and political theatre. Her leadership is rooted in deep community relationships, and a commitment to reshaping how disability is seen, valued, and elevated.
Founder & Senior Talent ManagerMaria Carolina Longo, Junior Talent Manager, has been working in the influencer marketing industry for 9 years, focusing on campaign strategy and talent management. Her work combines creative vision with performance analysis, transforming authentic narratives into qualified reach, audience connection, and measurable business impact.
As a person with a disability, she recognized the lack of representation and structured opportunities for creators with disabilities in Brazil and chose to open this path in a professional and strategic way. She founded MOVMENTE, an agency specialized in talents with disabilities, and today works as a bridge between brands and creators, leading negotiations, deliverables planning, storytelling, and metrics tracking to ensure every project generates measurable impact.
Carol believes great campaigns are built on the balance between purpose and performance.
Junior Talent ManagerAthlete ManagerVasu Sojitra, Athlete Manager, is a professional skier and a Disability Access Strategist living in Bozeman, MT. He has climbed peaks like the Grand Teton and was the first Disabled person to ski peaks in Montana’s Beartooth and Bridger Mountains with monumental ski descents on Tahoma (Mt Rainer) and Denali all on one leg and without a prosthetic leg. Through his goals and ambitions, he hopes to create more accessible spaces for people with disabilities and people of color in the outdoors and the ski world with the motto of “#ninjasticking through the wood to center intersectionality in the outdoors.”
Vasu is represented by Kann Collective as an athlete and with his experience as a professional athlete in the outdoor industry for the past 10+ years, he is supporting the development of new & upcoming athletes.
Our Identity
These designs were born from Camila’ love for rainbows: not just for its colors, but for its historical significance. The rainbow has long been a symbol for those who fight for justice, from queer liberation to the Disability Pride flag, each color tells a story of strength and radical inclusion. It also represents diversity, hope and new beginnings.
But rather than using a traditional rainbow, I wanted to reimagine and deconstruct its expected form, to rebuild it in a way that feels fresh, intentional, and deeply ours, just as our collective consistently rebuilds disability narratives, disrupts norms: breaking stereotypes and ableist perspectives.
This evokes movement, it’s more than a burst of colors, it’s a tapestry of our collective action, our path towards change and an accessible future.
Kann Collective celebrates your vibrancy, creativity, and leadership as Deaf & Disabled Talent, Advocates and Allies, not as an afterthought, but at the very center.
